This is an antique roll-top desk.

We have preserved the original scratches, stains, and cracks as part of its unique character.

Structural issues, such as loose joints, have been repaired.

The drawer bottom panels were heavily damaged, so they have been replaced with basswood plywood.

The movement of the wooden shutter and the drawers has been adjusted, allowing for smooth operation.

One key for the shutter is included.

The desk features a built-in mechanism that locks the bottom three drawers on the right side.

When the shutter is raised to the top, the lock is released, allowing you to open the bottom three drawers on the right.

The long horizontal drawer on the left side does not have a lock.

The desk can be separated into top and bottom sections. The upper section sits on top by aligning it with the dowels.
