Paulownia-front kohikidashi (Japanese small drawer chest) C1139

An old kohikidashi (Japanese small drawer chest) with five drawers.
After sanding to expose the bare wood, the right side was painted red and the drawer pulls were replaced.
It is finished to look as if two different pieces of furniture had been joined side by side.
