Glass display cabinet F0253

A glass display cabinet reimagined from an old wooden cabinet.

The sides, back, top and shelves were changed to glass, leaving only the wooden joinery of the frame. The body is lifted off the ground and rests on a gold-leaf sphere and a mass of long red faux fur. The black base is finished in layers of cashew lacquer, polished to a mirror finish.

The wooden parts are finished with wax.

The joints have been repaired, and the sliding doors and drawers have been adjusted.
Two keys are included, one for the sliding doors and one for the drawers.
As this is an old piece, it has fine scratches and signs of age.
