Chobadansu (Japanese merchant chest) D0255

An old chobadansu (Japanese merchant chest).

The heavy, rich look of the zelkova is attractive.

Structural areas such as loose joints have been repaired.

The drawers and sliding doors have been adjusted and open and close smoothly.

*The lower sliding doors come with a lock and key, but one part of the lock is missing, so the doors cannot be locked. The sliding doors open even with the lock attached. Please use the lock as decoration.

The metal fittings on the other drawers have keyholes, but there are no keys. To prevent accidental operation, they are fixed so they do not move inside the fittings.

As this is an old piece, it has scratches, stains and cracks.
