Mizuyadansu (Japanese kitchen chest) D0302

An old mizuyadansu (Japanese kitchen chest).

Repaired while keeping its original character.

The front is made of zelkova, and the interior is made of solid Japanese cedar.

On the back of the lower sliding door there is an ink inscription reading "Taisho 15" (1926).

Structural areas such as loose joints have been repaired as far as possible.

The drawers and sliding doors have been adjusted and open and close smoothly.

The body separates into upper and lower parts, which can be carried separately when moving.

As this is an old piece made of solid wood, it has scratches, stains and cracks.
