Mitsudomoe kodansu (Japanese small chest) B1056
Reimagined from an old paulownia drawer chest.
The front carries the traditional Japanese mitsudomoe (three-comma) pattern. Inspired by maki-e, a leading lacquer technique, it is finished with fine metal powder and modern paint.
Structural areas such as loose joints have been repaired. All drawers have been adjusted and open and close smoothly. One key for the lower drawer is included.
