Pink hardware ishodansu (Japanese clothing chest) B0128
An old tansu (Japanese antique chest) with a paulownia front, remade.
The metal fittings are painted pink, and the wood is finished with a clear coat that keeps the texture of the bare wood.
The peach has long been loved as a fruit that wards off evil, and its color is also considered auspicious.
The fittings are dressed in the color of the peach, so vivid that you can't help but stop and look.
The joints have been repaired and the drawers have been adjusted. There is a keyhole, but there is no key.
As this is an old piece, it has fine scratches and signs of age.
