Mizuyadansu (Japanese kitchen chest) B0824

A mizuyadansu (Japanese kitchen chest) with a simple structure and outstanding presence.

The wood was sanded and finished in bare wood, and the sliding doors were changed to glass for a fresh image. The inside was refreshed for easier use, and new shelves were made. The front edge of the shelves is reversible, fluorescent red on one side and zelkova veneer on the other.

The sides of the body and the inner back panel are finished in furniture linoleum.

A mizuyadansu that keeps its gravitas while feeling light and modern.
The impression changes with the direction of the reversible shelves, so use whichever color you prefer.

This mizuyadansu is built with the upper unit resting on the lower unit, and can be separated into upper and lower parts. When moving it in, the two parts can be carried separately. No tools are needed to separate them.
