Moon and sun tsuitate (Japanese single-panel screen) D0008

An old tsuitate (Japanese single-panel screen), remade.
One side shows a full moon sparkling in the night sky, and the other a deep red sun. The composition is simple, a single circle at the center, but the distinctive texture of the material gives it a striking presence.
Keeping the aged, characterful atmosphere of the wooden parts, it has been finished as an original screen with outstanding presence.
