Full moon tansu (Japanese chest of drawers) C0640

This tansu has the beautiful, soft grain of paulownia.
A circle of fluffy fur on the front gives it a distinctive character.
Against the paulownia front panels, the white circle looks just like the moon.
With four large drawers, it is also very practical.
Paulownia, fur and simple black metal fittings go together exceptionally well.
