Table with stools F0107

An old table.

It comes with retractable stools.

The stools are spring-loaded. Pull one out from under the tabletop and sit down, and the seat lowers. When you stand up, the spring lifts the seat and it returns automatically under the tabletop.

The underside of the tabletop has a groove from a kamoi (sliding-door lintel), so it appears to have been made by reusing a top from some older piece of furniture.

It has been cleaned, keeping its original character.

The moving parts work without problems.

As this is an old piece made of solid wood, it has scratches, stains, cracks and warping.
